I've never had a blog before. Of course I have facebook and when Myspace was cool I had that, but never a blog. Now that i'm going to be a stay at home, i'm going to be involved with everything I can, so i'm creating this to try and document it all.
I've been our FRG (Family Readiness Group) leader for the last year now. Originally my husband was in Alpha Battery and it was just me and then when he switched to HHB, I became a co-leader. Because I was working I wasn't involved in as many things as I wanted to. Now that I have an open schedule, I have all kinds of plans!
I've also decided that I really don't want Gideon to miss out on Preschool just because i'm not working. So I started the Mother Goose Time Co-op Preschool in Korea. My plan is to get some other parent's that want their children in preschool also, to split the cost with me so we can purchase more then just the curriculum from Mother Goose Time. It sounds like a really great curriculum and i'm excited about it, but I want more then just that! I want extra books, musical instruments, and kids for my son to play with. I'm not charging enough to make a profit (as great as that would be, lol, just enough to cover all expenses but still be affordable for all the parents) We'll see how it works out. I'm really excited for it though.
I'm also a Temptations Parties consultant. It's a lot of fun, and I enjoy doing it. It's a great way to make extra income! It can be a little harder here then I think in the states because most of the spouses don't have jobs, which means limited income. We'll see how it goes when we move back stateside in January. Did I mention I live in South Korea? That of course is it's own experience...
Well I hope you enjoy reading my blog, I look forward to writing it! Ta ta for now!
SUCH A GOOD IDEA!!!! love it
